 Mandate of the Laboratory:

The Agency for Plant and Animal Health Regulation and Control - AGROCALIDAD, a public institution attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, is in charge of the control and regulation for the protection and improvement of animal health, plant health and food safety.

 Role in the farm-to-fork chain:

Provides microbiological analysis services at the primary stage of food production, balanced, vegetables, fruits, feed, water. Activity based on compliance with national and international regulations, which along with the use of modern equipment, standardized processes and under continuous improvement policies, have allowed us to provide confidence in the quality of our tests, these being recognized by the certification based on the ISO 9001: 2008 standard and criteria referenced in ISO 17025, which ensure the technical competence of our tests.
